For CATIA MCAD workloads, the POWER 185 Express provides higher performance than its predecessor 1 , the IBM IntelliStation POWER 275 1.0 GHz, while generating even less noise. By reducing the entry price, the POWER 185 Express lowers the hurdle to upgrade old, slower MCAD design and analysis workstations.
